Role of Emotional Intelligence in the Quality of Nursing Care in Nurses Working in Covid-19 Care Units

Background and Objective: The Covid-19 pandemic is a serious threat to the physical mental health of people, especially nurses who are responsible for caring patients. Since emotional intelligence most important factor individual performance, it can reduce negative effects stress among nurses. Therefore, this study aimed investigate role in quality nursing care working units. Materials Methods: This analytical cross-sectional was conducted on 120 personnel units Jahrom Hospital 1400, were selected through census method. Data collected by administering Bar-on scale, demographic characteristics questionnaire. Research data analyzed using descriptive statistical tests inferential statistics SPSS software (version 21). Results: at an average level (50%) good other half (49.2%). score (315.91±37.09) showed high Additionally, results significant direct relationship between (r=0.52, P<0.0001). Conclusion: Promotion improvement help maintain workers controlling disease finally improve care.
